to upgrade the Galaxy Gio, you need to prepare:

1.Then extract the downloaded file and run the file Odin Multi Downloader
2.conect samsung galaxy gio with usb and let odin detect your gio
3.Press the button and select GIO_v1.0.ops OPS so writing (Android) turns into (GT-S5660).

5.Then turn off your Galaxy Gio and turn it back on by pressing the Volume Down, Home and Power at the same time, so enter Download mode until it says Downloading.
6.Remove the external memory and then plug the USB cable to the Galaxy Gio and PC so that both are connected. See COM Port in Odin will appear yellow as a sign that your smartphone is connected to the PC.
